These terms apply to contributions and participation in WE CHANGE ONE.
About the project
WE CHANGE ONE presents a collective contribution project. WECHANGEONE is the operator. Ruslan is the founder and first recipient. The project seeks one million $1 contributions; reaching that goal or reaching it by a particular date is not guaranteed.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this arrangement. You must be authorised to use the payment method and must not participate where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Contributions
Contributions are one-time payments processed through Stripe Checkout. Review the amount, currency, processing addition and merchant information before confirming. A contribution is not an investment and does not create an ownership interest or a right to financial returns. No tax deduction is promised.
Fees and receipt of funds
The intended model is a $1 contribution for The One and $0 platform commission from that contribution, with processing charged separately. For the first round, payments are received by the project Stripe account operated by WECHANGEONE. Net proceeds depend on Stripe fees. Payments & Fees explains the current limitations.
Applications and selection
The selection process is not currently open. Before applications or voting begin, the operator must publish final eligibility, random-selection, replacement, voting, tie, fraud and geographic rules. The current model links eligibility to a confirmed contribution and an email. Payment does not guarantee selection. After the round closes, ten verified ONES are invited at random and have 24 hours to submit their stories; non-responses are replaced at random. Verified ONES from the completed round then have 48 hours to cast one vote, and the candidate with the most valid votes becomes THE ONE for the next round. These terms do not create a right to a future payment or selection.
Responsible use
Provide accurate information and use only a payment method you are authorised to use. Do not impersonate others, manipulate voting or interfere with the site. Any enforcement must be consistent with applicable law and published rules.
Errors, refunds and rights
For payment problems, use the merchant contact on your Stripe receipt and keep the payment reference. There is no automatic refund promise solely because a funding target is not reached. This does not exclude any refund, dispute or other right that applies by law.
Site information and changes
Progress displays may lag behind payment confirmation and are not audited payout statements. Material changes to the project and selection rules should be published before they take effect. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy acknowledgement
Checkout requires acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy because email and transaction information are necessary to process and reconcile the contribution and administer participation. This acknowledgement is not consent to marketing or optional analytics.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available in the consumer’s country of residence. Any mandatory jurisdiction, chargeback, refund or dispute rights remain unaffected.
